Responsible Gaming

Decide what this page can and cannot do before you rely on it

This page cannot switch on a deposit cap, a loss cap, a reality check, a cooling-off period or self-exclusion. Those are controls that live inside an account at an operator's own site, and this build has no account, no form and no server-side application behind it. Nobody's age is verified here and no gambling takes place on these pages: any check of that kind happens only after you follow a link away from this domain. If you want any of these controls active, you arrange them yourself inside the account you hold at the destination, not here.

The same separation applies to every operator listing on this site. Each one ends with the same line: check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, because eligibility rules and terms apply there and can change without notice. Everything you can actually do with money happens after you leave this site — each operator link redirects to a third party, and from that point the destination's rules, checks and account controls apply, not anything published here. The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this build, including on the front page and at the end of every operator listing, but repeating it is not the same as verifying it, and this site does not verify it.

Use these organisations if gambling stops being entertainment

Every page of this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: gambleaware.nsw.gov.au, gamblinghelponline.org.au, and responsiblegambling.vic.gov.au. These are the only outbound links on the whole site that are not commercial. Unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking, they are set to nofollow, and they open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when a reader follows them.

  • Decide the amount you are willing to spend before you start, and treat it as already spent the moment you sit down — this removes the pressure of watching a live balance and makes it easier to stop at the line you set.
  • Never chase a loss. A loss you try to win back with a bigger stake tends to become a bigger loss, because the stake size is now driven by frustration rather than by any plan.
  • Keep gambling out of borrowed money. Money that is owed elsewhere turns an entertainment budget into a debt problem the moment it is spent.
  • Take breaks during a session. Stepping away for a few minutes breaks the run of decisions being made in the same mood, which is often when stakes creep upward.
  • Involve someone else early, while the situation is still small enough to talk about calmly, rather than waiting until it feels urgent.

Understand what happens once you follow a link

From the moment an operator link redirects you, the destination's own rules, checks and account controls take over. This site cannot see, set or enforce anything inside that account, and nothing published here changes once you arrive there. The same is true of the three help organisation links: they open on the organisations' own websites, independent of any operator, and this site has no part in what happens on those pages either. Reading this page is not a substitute for setting controls where they actually work — inside the account itself.
